Documents You Need to Submit

At Sea of Love Weddings, we want nothing more than to give you a stress-free time in the planning and staging of your ceremony in Soufriere, St. Lucia. Grateful for you forwarding the following documents to us at least eight weeks prior to your wedding date.

  • Death Certificate (If Either Party Is Widowed)
  • Decree Nisi/Absolut (If Either Party Is Divorced)
  • Deed Poll Certificate (If Your Name Has Been Changed)
  • Original Identity Document (Must Be Presented With a Raised Stamp or Seal)
  • Parental Consent by Way of an Affidavit From a Notary Public (If Under 18 Years Old)
  • Passports (Valid for a Minimum of 6 Months)
  • Proof of Legal Residency (Must be submitted 3 Full Business Days Prior to the Wedding Date; Weekends and Holidays Not Included)

You may scan the documents and send them to us through email. Upon your arrival, the legal documents must be signed in the presence of a Justice of the Peace or lawyer.

Should your documents be in a foreign language, please submit a certified translation into English prior to your arrival.
